Recording:

Note:
The piece is a composed reading of the short story “Hat Trick” by the Israeli author Etgar Kereth, which appeared originally in Hebrew in the book "Missing Kissinger" (Zmora-Bitan edition, 1994) and was translated to English by Miriam Shlesinger and Sondra Silverston. The story is told by a magician who is trying to take a rabbit out of his hat to the delight of his underage audience.
In an equivalent way to the free wandering of the story in the space between metaphor and its source, the piece wanders in the space between treating the narration as a meaning carrier, as sound and as a physical gesture.
